Charles Schwab Bank:

Financial Management Certificate

Our workshops, seminars, and certificate programs give nonprofit leaders and teams the skills, frameworks, and credentials to strengthen their organizations and deepen their impact.

In partnership with Charles Schwab Bank, this certificate gives nonprofit professionals a comprehensive grounding in nonprofit financial management — from accounting basics and financial statement analysis to Form 990 preparation and donation processing best practices.

Master the Financial Side of Nonprofit Management

Financial fluency isn’t just for finance staff — it’s a leadership skill.

When the people running your programs, managing your grants, and reporting to your board understand what the numbers mean and where they come from, your organization makes better decisions, builds stronger funder relationships, and operates with greater confidence and accountability.

Four focused half-day sessions move through the full arc of nonprofit financial management — from foundational accounting concepts to the practical mechanics of donation processing, grant tracking, and audit preparation — with instruction grounded in real-world nonprofit application. The material connects directly to the financial realities your organization is already navigating.

Who It's For

Nonprofit professionals who work with or alongside financial operations — program managers, development staff, executive leaders, and operations professionals who want to understand their organization's finances with greater depth and confidence.

Each nonprofit may register up to two participants.
