As CNM’s signature credential, the Nonprofit Management Certificate provides a comprehensive foundation in the disciplines that drive high-performing nonprofit organizations.
Prove You’re Ready to Lead
Strong organizations are led by people who understand the whole picture — not just their corner of it. This certificate builds that panoramic view: the governance, financial, programmatic, and development knowledge that helps capable leaders become confident, decisive ones.
Seven full days of in-person instruction move through each core discipline in depth, taught by instructors who work inside the sector and design curriculum to reflect it. The cohort format means you're not just learning from the material — you're learning from the room.

This program is designed for nonprofit professionals who are ready to lead across the full scope of organizational operations — whether you're stepping into executive leadership, expanding your functional range, or deepening a foundation you've been building for years.
What You'll Learn
The program covers the core functions of nonprofit operations — from board governance and strategic planning to financial management, fundraising, and marketing — building an integrated leadership skill set across the full organizational system.

The program consists of seven in-person full-day sessions. You must attend all seven sessions within 18 months to earn your certificate:
